Martha Gooden

It was refreshing to be able to have a very down-to-earth conversation with Ryan and it reminded me of being back home in WV.

Martha, originally from Weirton, West Virginia, had moved to Delaware in the late ’60s. Although she had moved some time ago, her family retained ownership of mineral rights in Tyler County. “I had been contacted by other mineral buying companies over the years looking to purchase our mineral rights but we just weren’t ready to sell at the time. Recently, Ryan from Pikewood Energy contacted me and expressed his interest in purchasing them. Once I talked it over with my son, we decided to go ahead and see what Pikewood would offer.”

After conducting all of the due diligence necessary to make an accurate valuation, an offer was made to purchase Martha’s mineral rights. “Pikewood took care of all the leg work and made us a very good offer. We accepted, and the entire process went very quickly and smoothly. What I appreciated the most was how easy Ryan was to talk to and deal with. If I had questions he was right there to answer them for me in a straightforward fashion. It was refreshing to be able to have a very down-to-earth conversation with Ryan and it reminded me of being back home in West Virginia. I’m glad we chose to do business with Pikewood Energy!”
